Toys R Us is great, but sometimes you want to give your child toys full of whimsy and magic. An awesome place to go is ROMP, an exclusively online store started by mom and designer Jenn Labelle. Not only do her products make great gifts, but they’re also awesome accessories to have on a baby or children’s photography shoot. Newborns on camera absolutely must get some artistic and creative adjustments. Why? Because most of them are really wrinkley and their coloring is dark and uneven.

Thought you’d get a kick out of how this baby will eventually be a little frog prince. I shot him in my studio on blue paper which will eventually be cut out and replaced with a lily pond scene. I haven’t shot the lily pond yet, and I’m not sure what the background will actually be….
