Toys R Us is great, but sometimes you want to give your child toys full of whimsy and magic. An awesome place to go is ROMP, an exclusively online store started by mom and designer Jenn Labelle. Newborns on camera absolutely must get some artistic and creative adjustments. Why? Because most of them are really wrinkley and their coloring is dark and uneven.
Thought you’d get a kick out of how this baby will eventually be a little frog prince. I shot him in my studio on blue paper which will eventually be cut out and replaced with a lily pond scene. I haven’t shot the lily pond yet, and I’m not sure what the background will actually be….

I’m expanding out of the black background. It’s no longer enough to have the high contrast black and white on a black background; I want COLOR.
