I’ve bought the Nature’s Variety freeze-dried raw food for Charlie from this web site. He LOVES it! Gobbles it up. And he is one picky eater. He would go for days without eating when I fed him kibble. Even the really good stuff!

In fact, he even hated a lot of the canned dog food, too.

Well, we did…and got super lucky.
My friend Bob has a steel-hull tank of a sailboat and there we were in New York Harbor with threatening clouds on two sides. We sailed from Liberty Landing down toward the Verazzano Bridge. Radar told us to head that direction, and then it told us to get the hell out of there. We got super lucky in that we didn’t get rained on (or struck by lightning) until we got to dinner at a yummy restaurant called “Monkey Balls” in Ella’s terms, aka “the Iron Monkey.”

We probably should have known better. There were no other sailboats out there. And a steel hull? I mean, really. What were we thinking? Well, the wine sure was good

I took this shot a while ago, but I still love it. In fact, it’s hanging in my studio and I get to admire it every day.
