Toys R Us is great, but sometimes you want to give your child toys full of whimsy and magic. An awesome place to go is ROMP, an exclusively online store started by mom and designer Jenn Labelle. Not only do her products make great gifts, but they’re also awesome accessories to have on a baby or children’s photography shoot. Below are some of the cutest toys I’ve seen in a while (take note of the wooden camera – my favorite!):

I stumbled upon a website that has amazing baby furniture, toys and accessories for the modern family. One great example of their products is this beautiful, white crib. I couldn’t help but love the clean lines and the fact that its made with recycled MDF, sustainable wood and eco-friendly non-toxic paint. It was designed by Bob and Nicole Springer for the Hiya Series sold through allmodern.com. Can’t you see one of your beautiful maternity photographs hanging over it already? I do a lot of baby photography in New York City. These sessions can sometimes run a long time as we wait for the little one to get in the mood! I try to schedule photo sessions around the time little ones are awake into the time when they take naps so we can get both the alert, smiling, laughing baby photos as well as the serene sleeping photos.
